Ecstasy and cannabis with an estimated street value of more than £1m have been seized in Worcestershire.

Police were alerted by a member of the public on 4 August to "something suspicious" by a lorry in Pershore.

The drugs, thought to be ecstasy and cannabis skunk, were found in the back of a lorry, West Mercia Police said.

It is believed the drugs were destined for Northern Ireland. A man has been arrested and is due to appear at Worcester Crown Court next month.
