Eckington caravan park death inquest opens

An inquest has been opened on a man who was hit by a car in a Worcestershire caravan park.

Allan Brown, 44, from Bretforton, near Evesham, was knocked down in Mill Lane, Eckington, on 5 October.

He was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital where he died four days later of his injuries. A woman in her 40s was arrested over the collision on 5 October and bailed.

Worcestershire coroner Geraint Williams opened and adjourned the inquest.
