Police have appealed for witnesses over the death of a 78-year-old woman in a collision in Worcestershire.

The woman from Kidderminster died in hospital on 8 October, 10 days after the crash in Habberley Road in the town.

She was driving a Vauxhall Corsa which was in collision with a LDV Cub van at about 1500 BST on 28 September.

Police said many people went to help the drivers after the crash and urged witnesses to come forward.

Sgt John Robert, of West Mercia Police, said: "This is a tragic event and our thoughts are with the elderly woman's family and friends at this time."
