Scaffolding has been put at the front of another building affected by a fire in a historical part of Hereford.
It has been put up outside the black-and-white-front of the Phones 4u store after already having been placed around River Island in the High Town area.
Demolition work has taken place at the neighbouring Card Factory store.
Herefordshire Council said it wanted to get The Old House, the nearby museum in a 17th Century building, open as soon as possible following Thursday's fire.
Parts of the High Town area remained fenced off, including the back of 15th Century pub Booth Hall.
Its landlords have returned to the building and were looking to see when they could reopen it.
The fire was brought under control within eight hours by more than 100 firefighters on Thursday, but nobody was injured.
Paul Nicholas, assistant director of public health at Herefordshire Council, said: "I'm as confident as I can be that nothing nasty went up in the air.
"The reports we were getting were there was no reason to suspect there was anything nasty within the buildings."
Staff from closed businesses have been sent to other branches.
The council has been working to find empty shops which could be moved into on a temporary basis.
