River-plunge murder charge father remanded in custody

A man accused of killing his daughter and attempting to kill his son by driving his car into a Worcestershire river has been remanded in custody.
Christopher Grady, 42, of no fixed address, drove his two children Gabrielle, five, and Ryan, six, into Evesham's River Avon on 11 February.
Gabrielle died in hospital three days later, but her brother survived.
At Worcester Crown Court, a trial date was set for 1 March. Mr Grady denies murder and attempted murder.
The court ordered that he be be remanded in custody until that date.
