Body found in missing woman hunt in Stourport

Police searching for a missing woman in Worcestershire say they have found a body.

Yvonne Turner, 59, left her home on the Walshes Farm Caravan Park, off Dunley Road, Stourport, on Wednesday evening.

The body of a woman was found on the Walshes estate during the afternoon of Christmas Day, West Mercia Police said.

Formal identification has yet to take place and the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem will happen in due course, they added.

On Friday, police said Mrs Turner was on foot and had no money with her or means of transport.
