Two men hurt in car crash near Ledbury


Two men have been hurt in a two-car collision in Herefordshire.

The accident happened on the road from Ledbury to Bromyard by the Oak Public House near Ledbury at about 2245 GMT on Wednesday.

The 17-year-old driver of one of the cars, who was from Malvern, had lost consciousness and had to be freed from the wreckage, ambulance crews said.

He had also broken his leg and possibly his shoulder. The driver of the other car was immobilised on a spinal board.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said it had been foggy at the scene and both cars had extensive damage.
