Derelict building in Leominster gutted by fire

  • Published

A derelict three-storey building in Herefordshire may have to be partially demolished after a fire broke out.

Up to 25 firefighters were called to the Old Mill in Pinsley Lane, Leominster, during the early hours.

More than half of the building, which is close to a railway line, was affected by the fire.

Building inspectors were called after Hereford and Worcester fire crews became concerned it was in danger of collapsing.

Fire crews will remain at the site for most of the day as they damp down.
