Flood warnings for River Severn in Worcestershire

  • Published

Flood warnings have been issued across parts of Worcestershire as river levels continue to rise.

The Environment Agency has issued warnings for the River Severn at Bewdley and Stourport. A lower-level flood alert is issued for Worcester.

The agency said levels were expected to peak during Wednesday morning and nearby roads could be expected to flood.

Temporary flood barriers were put up at the weekend in Bewdley.
