Six warnings on River Severn in Worcestershire

Six flood warnings have been issued on the Severn in Worcestershire as river levels continue to rise.

Three apply to Upper Arley, Hawford Wood and Stourport, including Lickhill, Lincomb and Riverlands.

The others relate to Holt Fleet, Severn Bank Park and Northwood, Bewdley, the Environment Agency said.

It said levels were expected to peak during Wednesday morning. Work has been taking place through the night to put up defences in Bewdley.
