Girl, 16, charged with Evesham man's murder

A 16-year-old girl has been charged with murder after a man's body was found at a house in Worcestershire.

The body of David Henry James, 53, was discovered at his home in Brick Kiln Street, Evesham, at 1045 GMT on Sunday.

West Mercia Police said a post-mortem examination on the body had taken place.

The girl appeared before magistrates in Worcester on Wednesday and was ordered to appear before the city's crown court on Friday.
