Ledbury gravestones laid flat over safety fears

Gravestones in a Herefordshire cemetery are going to be laid flat over safety fears.
Those in the highest risk category in Ledbury cemetery will be put flat on the ground until repairs are carried out, the town council said.
It is trying to contact the families of people who are buried there.
About a third of the stones were affected following safety checks and those that passed the tests would not be checked again for five years.
Town clerk Karen Mitchell said: "We've been through all our records, and we've put notices down at the cemetery itself.
"We've had quite a positive response with a lot of people coming forward."
