Motorcyclist critical after Herefordshire crash

A 39-year-old man is in a critical condition after his motorcycle collided with a car outside a Herefordshire pub.

A VW Golf driven by a man aged 90 crashed with a Honda Hornet motorcycle near The New Inn pub in Hereford Road, near Storridge.

The driver was thought to have turned right at the pub, across the path of the motorcyclist, at about 1210 BST on Sunday, West Mercia Police said.

Anyone who saw the crash is asked to call police.

The motorcyclist, from Worcester, suffered very serious injuries.

The VW driver was uninjured.
