Hereford Garrick House car park closed for maintenance

A Hereford multi-storey car park has been closed to allow "essential" maintenance works to be carried out.

The Garrick House multi-storey car park closed on Sunday and will also be closed on 12 and 19 June.

Herefordshire Council said notices have been put up advising people of the closure before it took place.

A spokesman for the council said people are advised to find alternative car parks if they intend to visit Hereford on any of these three Sundays.

David Hepworth, Herefordshire Council's parking enforcement team leader, said: "We have chosen to carry out these repairs on Sundays because these are quieter days and the closure will have less impact on shoppers and commuters."
