Six-vehicle M5 crash in Worcestershire injures 11

Eleven people have been injured in a crash involving six vehicles on the M5 in Worcestershire.

Emergency crews were called to the scene between junctions seven and eight on the northbound carriageway at about 13:35 BST. Police closed the road.

One person was taken to hospital and 10 others were treated at the scene.

The Highways Agency initially said there were delays of up to an a hour from junctions seven to nine. The carriageway reopened at 14:40 BST.
