Women suffers crush injuries in Bewdley

A woman was seriously hurt when she became trapped between two vehicles.

She was "momentarily crushed" after a vehicle rolled off a car ramp and hit a stationary vehicle in Bewdley, Worcestershire, ambulance crews said.

"When crews arrived they found the woman lying on the floor near the vehicles. She had sustained significant fractures to her legs and suspected pelvic injuries," a spokeswoman said.

The woman in her 50s was airlifted to hospital after the incident on Sunday.

Neither vehicle was occupied when during the accident at about 10:45 BST, West Midlands Ambulance Service added.
