Alethea Taylor: Murder accused husband in crown court

The husband of a missing Herefordshire woman has appeared in court charged with her murder.

Alethea Taylor, 63, has been missing for five months and was last seen at her home in Orleton in January.

John Taylor, 60, appeared at Worcester Crown Court charged with the murder of Mrs Taylor between 17 and 20 January.

Mr Taylor, of Mortimer Drive, Orleton, spoke only to confirm his name. He was remanded in custody until 2 July and is due to enter a plea in October.
