Horses put down after Hagley collision
Three horses were put down after a collision which also left a driver injured, Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said.
The service said a car was found on its side in a field along the A491 at Hagley, Worcestershire, and the driver was taken to hospital.
West Mercia Police said three vehicles were involved and three horses that had escaped from a nearby field had to be put down due to their injuries.
It happened around midnight on Monday.
A spokesperson from West Midlands Ambulance service said the man, believed to be in his 70s, was taken to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley with arm injuries.
