Man dies weeks after A38 crash in Worcestershire

A 40-year-old man has died in hospital more than two weeks after a car crash on the A38 in Worcestershire.

He was driving a car which was involved in a collision with an articulated lorry at 06:45 BST on 15 June at Copcut Elm island, near Droitwich.

The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Birmingham, and was considered to be in a stable condition in the days following the crash.

He remained in hospital and died on Sunday. The cause of death is unknown.
