Man arrested after sexual assault in Cleethorpes

A man has been arrested after a woman was sexually assaulted outside a North East Lincolnshire night spot.

The 19-year-old was standing alone outside the Barcelona club, in Cleethorpes, in the early hours of Sunday when a man approached her.

Police said he took her across the road to Fantasy Island next to Station Approach and sexually assaulted her.

A 19-year-old local man has been arrested and remains in custody. Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses.
