More arrests in Pocklington motel manager attack probe

Two more men have been arrested by police investigating an attack in a car park which left a motel manager blinded in one eye.

Michael Brown, 53, was hit with an unknown weapon in the car park of the Yorkway Motel in Pocklington, East Yorkshire, on 8 July.

A 55-year-old man and a 20-year-old man who are both from the Grimsby area have been arrested by Humberside Police.

A 20-year-old man who was arrested on Thursday remains in custody.

Mr Brown suffered a fractured skull and eye damage and underwent extensive surgery.

Officers still want to speak to anyone who saw a red Vauxhall Corsa at or near the Yorkway Motel on 8 July.
