Trial one-way system in Beverley to be removed
- Published
An experimental one-way traffic system in Beverley is to be removed.
The restriction around Wednesday Market was introduced in 2008 to protect pedestrians during a major repaving scheme in and around the area.
From Wednesday, the one-way system will be removed and traffic will once again flow both ways along Eastgate, Wednesday Market and Lord Roberts Road.
East Riding of Yorkshire Council said the decision followed an assessment of the system and pedestrian consultation.
