Two in court over Pocklington motel boss attack

Two men have appeared in court in connection with an attack on a motel manager in East Yorkshire.

Michael Brown, 53, was assaulted in the Yorkway Motel car park on 8 July.

Police say a 55-year-old man has been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent.

Another man, aged 20, has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. They were remanded in custody by magistrates in Beverley.

Humberside Police said a third man, Robert Elliott, appeared at the court on Saturday charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm with intent.

Mr Elliot, 20, of School Road, South Killingholme, was remanded in custody and his case was transferred to Hull Crown Court on 16 August.
