Roundabout repairs driver warning in North Lincolnshire

Motorists have been warned to expect disruption due to the closure of a roundabout which joins a motorway in North Lincolnshire.

The Frodingham Grange roundabout off the M181, near Tesco in Gunness, will be shut to traffic from 2000 BST to 0600 BST for six nights from Tuesday.

It is being closed to allow repair works to the surface of the roundabout, which is in poor condition.

The M181, A18 and A1077 approaches will all be closed during these times.

Local diversions

Diversions will be in place while the work to resurface the roundabout is carried out.

Motorway traffic to and from Scunthorpe will be diverted via M180 Junction 4 (Forest Pines), on to the A18 Mortal Ash and then the A18 Kingsway/Queensway and vice versa.

Local traffic will be diverted via Scotter Road on to the A1077 Orbital Road, B1216 Ferry Road West, B1216 Neap House Road and then the B1216 Station Road Gunness and vice versa.

Emergency vehicles will be directed through the roadworks by marshals, and footpaths and cycle routes will remain open.

From 0600 BST to 2000 BST the roundabout will operate as normal with no diversions in place.
