Biker seriously injured in crash in East Yorkshire
A motorcyclist from Sheffield received life threatening injuries in a crash in East Yorkshire.
A group of motorcyclists were riding along the road towards Stamford Bridge on the A166 on Sunday afternoon.
Two riders lost control and left the road. The air ambulance attended after both sustained serious injuries.
Police said a Sheffield man, aged 42, who was riding a Suzuki GSX 1000, was in a life threatening condition and was being treated at Hull Royal Infirmary.
A 26-year-old West Yorkshire man riding a Kawasaki ZXR sustained a fractured right wrist, minor cuts and abrasions. He also attended Hull Royal infirmary for treatment.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash, which happened just before 1400 BST, to contact them.
