Youths charged over attacks on Bridlington woman

Three 16-year-old boys have been charged after a woman suffered a serious eye injury in an attack in Bridlington.

The 41-year-old woman was assaulted by a group of youths at Elma Villas on Tuesday night.

Police said it was not yet clear how much damage had been caused to her eye.

The Bridlington teenagers were remanded in custody and will appear before Beverley magistrates later, charged with assault and violent disorder.
