Teenager arrested over Hull nursery snatch attempt

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of trying to snatch a child from a nursery in Hull.

An inquiry was started after a woman went into Kingston Nursery on Beverley Road on 17 September.

Police said she claimed she was picking the girl up on behalf of her parents but left after the parents were contacted and denied knowing her.

A Humberside Police spokesman said a 17-year-old girl was arrested on Friday and had been released on bail.
