Missing Scunthorpe school boy, 11, found safe and well

An 11-year-old boy whose disappearance prompted a police inquiry has been found safe and well.

Joshua Bamber was reported missing by his mother after he failed to meet her on Friday afternoon and did not return to the family home in Scunthorpe.

Humberside Police described his disappearance as "out of character", and said they were concerned for the welfare of the school boy.

A spokeswoman said Joshua was traced in Scunthorpe on Saturday morning.
