Woman's body found at Pocklington house fire

The body of a woman has been discovered by firefighters tackling a blaze at a house in East Yorkshire.

Crews found the body in the house on Edward Street, Pocklington, at about 2130 GMT on Monday.

Officers from Humberside Fire and Rescue believe the blaze started accidentally but have not yet revealed the cause.

The woman has not been named by police but more details are expected to be revealed later.
