Grimsby teenager charged after town stabbing

A teenager has been charged with wounding with intent after a man was stabbed in North East Lincolnshire.

Humberside Police were called to Hainton Avenue, Grimsby at about 1840 BST on Good Friday after reports a man had been stabbed.

A 19-year-old from the Grimsby area has been arrested and charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He is due before Grimsby Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Humberside Police said the victim, 27, was in a stable condition in the town's Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital.
