Drugs operation closes three Cleethorpes pubs

Three pubs have been closed in north east Lincolnshire following a drugs operation by police.

The Swashbuckle Tavern, Barracuda, and Gypsy Tears in Cleethorpes have had their licences suspended by North East Lincolnshire council.

The council has 28 days to decide whether the licences will be permanently withdrawn or reinstated.

Evidence was collected in a joint operation between the council and Humberside Police.

The licence owners have appealed against the temporary suspension.
