Graeme Walton named as cyclist killed on A18

A cyclist who was killed in a collision with a lorry in North East Lincolnshire has been named by police.

Graeme Walton, 64, from Melton Ross in North Lincolnshire, was cycling on the A18 southbound between Laceby and Barnoldby-le-Beck when the crash happened on Saturday morning.

The lorry driver, a 48-year-old Lincolnshire man, was not injured.

He was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving and released on bail until the end of January.

Police said the lorry was travelling in the same direction as the cyclist when the collision happened.

Officers have appealed for witnesses.
