An ex-leader of North East Lincolnshire Council has been charged with an act of outraging public decency.

Councillor Keith Brookes, leader of the Conservative group on the local authority, was arrested on Saturday.

He appeared before Grimsby Magistrates' Court on Monday and was released on bail until 5 August, when he is due back in court.
