An investigation into the death of a lift engineer at a building in Hull is not being treated as suspicious, police have said.

A lift engineer from Doncaster was "working in an area around the lifts" at Queens House on Paragon Street when the incident occurred on 23 June.

Humberside Police have not yet named the 37-year-old man.

Hull City Council will now lead the investigation and not the Health and Safety Executive.

The council does not own the building, which comprises offices and shops, but it is responsible for enforcing health and safety regulations at commercial premises.
