Two arrests after Bridlington bank robbery

Two men have been arrested by detectives investigating an armed robbery at a bank.

The armed robbery at the TSB bank in Manor Street, Bridlington, East Yorkshire took place about 09:00 BST on Saturday, Humberside Police said.

Two men threatened staff inside the bank, tied them up and then drove off in a white car with a quantity of cash.

The men in custody were arrested early in the morning and are still being held, the force said.
