Christina Randell killing: Man, 51, charged with murder

A man has been charged with the murder of a woman who was found dead in a hotel room in the centre of Hull.

The body of Christina Randell, 51, from the city, was discovered at the Ibis hotel on Osborne Street, on Sunday.

Deland Allman, who police said "had known Ms Randell in a domestic context for a number of years" has been charged with murder.

The 51-year-old, of Halyard Croft, will appear at Hull and Holderness Magistrates Court on Thursday.

Ms Randell's family were continuing to be supported by officers, police said.
