Canterbury city councillor denies sex charges

A Canterbury city councillor has pleaded not guilty to 20 sex offences.

Martin Fisher faces charges including indecent assault, sexual touching and making and possessing indecent images of children.

The charges relate to alleged offences against two children under the age of 16, and one adult.

Mr Fisher, 60, of Queens Road, Whitstable, entered his plea at Canterbury Crown Court where a trial date was set for 30 November.

The incidents are alleged to have occurred between 1982 and 2010.
