Fifth arrest follows gang attack on Isle of Sheppey
A fifth person has been arrested over a gang attack at a caravan park on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent, which left a man in intensive care.
A 33-year-old man from London is being treated at Medway Maritime Hospital following the assault in Leysdown.
It is thought the man was attacked after he asked people at a party to make less noise.
Kent Police said a 35-year-old from South Norwood in South London had been arrested and bailed.
The father-of-two is said to be in a stable condition.
Four teenagers arrested earlier this week have also been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The force has appealed for anyone with information about the incident in the early hours of Sunday to contact officers.
