Five charged over Rochester car park fight

Five people have been charged over a fight outside a Kent nightclub which left a man in hospital.

A 27-year-old man from Strood suffered serious head injuries in the incident, which happened outside the Casino Rooms in Rochester on Sunday 14 March.

Two of the men are charged with causing grievous bodily harm. Three are charged with public order offences.

The men, aged between 19 and 29, from south London, are due to appear before Medway magistrates on 15 September.

The fight happened in Blue Boar Lane during the early hours of the morning.

Kent Police said the victim is making a steady recovery.
