A crop fire that destroyed more than 35 acres of wheat in north Kent was started deliberately, police have said.
More than 40 firefighters tackled the blaze at a cornfield in New Road, Horton Kirby, at 1300 BST on Monday.
Kent Police are treating the fire as arson and want to speak to two boys who were seen in the area at the time.
Horton Kirby crew manager Kevin Porter said during the summer months there was an increased problem with young people starting fires deliberately.
Pc Chris Relf, of Kent Police, said: 'Playing with fire is extremely dangerous.
"Not only are you putting your life and the lives of others at risk, you can also cause a huge amount of damage to property and wildlife."
