Cannabis seized at ex-polo club in Kent

More than 300 cannabis plants have been seized following a police raid at a former nightclub and polo club in Kent.

Officers raided Wierton Place in Boughton Monchelsea on Friday and seized the plants, said to have a street value of £36,000.

A 52 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and a 23-year-old man on suspicion of possessing the drug.

Both were bailed until 19 November pending further inquiries.
