A total of 38 people have been charged with supplying drugs following a series of raids across northern Kent.

More than 120 officers targeted 33 addresses in Sittingbourne and the Isle of Sheppey on Wednesday and Thursday.

Kent Police said 38 people had been charged with drugs offences including the supply of heroin and cocaine.

The force said the raids, carried out by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, were its biggest operation in two years.
