Designer clothing has been stolen in a smash-and-grab raid at a department store in Tunbridge Wells.

Kent Police said it received reports that a burglary was in progress at Hoopers For Men at The Great Hall shopping arcade at 0250 BST on Sunday.

A door at the rear of the arcade was smashed along with a plate glass window at the side of the store.

Police said the value of the clothing stolen was not yet known. Forensic officers were at the scene on Sunday.

The same store was targeted five weeks ago when clothing believed to be worth about £10,000 was stolen.
