Boy, 14, stable in hospital after attack in Tenterden

A 14-year-old boy remains in a stable condition in hospital after he was injured during a disturbance in Kent.

The schoolboy suffered serious head injuries in the attack near Tenterden Town Hall, in the High Street, shortly after 0100 BST on Saturday.

He was taken to the William Harvey Hospital, in Ashford, before being transferred to a London hospital.

Kent Police said they had spoken to a number of people, but were still keen to speak to any other witnesses.
