Canterbury car crash causes 'life threatening' injuries


A 21-year-old man is in intensive care with serious head injuries after a four-car collision in Kent.

Police said his condition was "thought to be life threatening".

A 20-year-old passenger in the same car also suffered a broken arm in the incident on Calcott Hill, Sturry, Canterbury at 2000 BST on Thursday.

Police closed the road for several hours after the collision, in which a woman from Herne Bay also suffered whiplash injuries.
