A shop assistant was pushed to the ground by masked men during a raid on a convenience store in Kent.

Kent Police said the robbers attacked the man at the shop in Queen's Way, Sheerness, after he refused to hand over cash.

The two thieves, who both had their faces covered with scarves, then stole money from behind the counter.

Officers have asked anyone with information about the raid at about 2040 GMT on Tuesday to contact them.

Both men were said to be white, about 5ft 5in tall and of slim build.
