Seven teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at the back of a library in Kent.
Police were called to Sittingbourne Library, in Central Avenue, just after 2000 GMT on Wednesday after a member of the public spotted the fire.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service put out the fire, which was started on a wooden table by the back wall, before any damage was caused to the library.
Five boys and two girls were arrested in the town shortly afterwards
Investigating officer Pc Bobby Holloway, from Sittingbourne police, said the wooden table had been next to a stock of wood and foliage.
