Romney Marsh fatal car crash driver named by police


A 67-year-old man who was killed in a collision between two cars in Kent has been named by police.

Barry Griffin, from Lydd, was involved in an accident on the A259 between Lydd and Brenzett, at 1000 GMT on Saturday.

Kent Police said Mr Griffin was driving a Nissan Micra when he was in collision with a Suzuki Vitara travelling towards Ashford.

Mr Griffin's wife and two people travelling in the Suzuki sustained serious injuries.

Police said their injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
