Thieves have stolen four rolls of film reel that were bound for an Odeon cinema in Kent.

Police said the film reels contained the new release "Little Fockers" and were taken from a locked car boot in Maidstone on Saturday night.

Officers said the films could only be viewed on cinema projectors and were stored in silver circular tins inside cardboard boxes.

The boxes were taken from a courier's car parked overnight in Milton Street.

It is thought the incident happened between 1800 GMT and 1030 GMT the following day.
