Kent Police warn over bogus officer in Gravesend

A bogus police officer has targeted elderly people in Kent in an attempt to get hold of their bank details.

Kent Police said two women in Gravesend, aged 91 and 77, had been telephoned by a man posing as a policeman.

In both incidents, the man claimed the women's bank details had been compromised and turned up later to collect their bank cards.

Det Sgt John Ralph, from Kent Police, has appealed for information.
